Today is anticipated to be much less humid than yesterday. That will provide some relief, though with sunny skies and highs in the upper 80s. There is another chance for a few showers late on Saturday and Sunday afternoon into Monday morning.

There is some good news in our future. After the heat wave has ended this upcoming week, conditions will return closer to average for much of next week.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely heading into tonight. They could last through the rest of the weekend into Monday. While Sunday will most likely not be a total wash-out, today looks a lot better for outdoor plans and activities. So, get outside and enjoy your last day of hot temperatures if this is your thing!

Drier weather returns Tuesday and beyond for next week.

Forecast Details:

Today: Partly sunny, chance for an isolated late-day shower. High in the upper 80s.

Sunday: Partly cloudy, chance for a shower or thunderstorm in spots in the afternoon.  High: Low 80s.

Monday: Cloudy start with a chance for morning showers. Then some clearing. High: Low 80s.

Tuesday: Partly sunny. High: Mid 80s.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny. High: 80s

Thursday: Mostly sunny, very warm. High: upper 80s.
