BARKHAMSTED–The town of Barkhamsted is issuing a warning after a recent issue: don’t deface nature’s beauty.

The town reported on its Facebook page that several rocks at Beach Rock, a nature area off Beach Rock Road near the Barkhamsted Reservoir, had been decorated with Pokemon graffiti over the weekend.

The town says that the  Metropolitan District, which runs the reservoir, will clean up the graffiti, and that anyone who sees someone doing something damaging to nature in the area should report it to MDC police. Also, if you know who was responsible for this graffiti, please report it.

You can contact MDC 24/7 by calling 860-278-7850 ext. 1.
