MILFORD – A woman who police suspect of being part of an armed robbery at a Walmart store will appear in Milford court on Thursday.
Police said that in the early morning of June 16 a robbery occurred at the Walmart at 1365 Boston Post Road.
Police said Robert Covington, 25, of New Haven, was arrested on July 8 and after his arrest it was determined that Kayla Marzano, 21, of West Haven, was linked to the robbery while working as an employee there.
Marzano is charged with second-degree conspiracy to commit robbery third-degree conspiracy to commit larceny. She was unable to post $25,000 bail.
Police said at the time of the robbery, Covington went to the service desk, implied that he had a handgun in his waistband and demanded money from the clerk. He then took off through the front door, ran across the parking lot, got into entered a light-colored car and drove off.
Covington has been charged with second-degree robbery, third-degree larceny, second-degree conspiracy to commit robbery and third-degree conspiracy to commit larceny.
