HARTFORD -- Boomer is looking for a new home!
He's an 8-9 month old hound/pit bull mix.
He's a handsome fun-loving pup with lots of energy.
He’s playful in a constructive way. He’d prefer to play with people and other dogs, but will amuse himself with toys. He aims to please and is easily trainable. He likes a treat reward, but loves to hear praise and know that he’s done a good job.
Boomer plays well with other dogs, and prefers dogs his size who are comfortable getting a little rough. He is young and impressionable, and learns well from people and dogs around him.
Boomer's new family should be prepared to invest the time in training him now, since he is focused and ready to learn.
