BOSTON - With the Red Bull Flugtag coming up in Boston this weekend, one group from Connecticut is getting ready to take to the sky.
Gus-Dave and the Whiteheads are a group of guys based out of Hartford. They are making their glider in honor of Gustave Whitehead, who is believed to have flown two years earlier than the Wright Brothers, flew in Bridgeport.
The competition has three parts: the skit, distance flown, and the creativity of the craft.
Saturday, August 20, is the big day. They will compete in Boston against 30 other teams from the area.
