One dead in Oxford crash

OXFORD — One person died after a crash early Monday morning.

According to police in Oxford, a car went down an embankment on Oxford Rd., Route 67, near the town line with Seymour shortly after midnight.

The driver was seriously injured and later died.

The road was closed for the investigation but has since reopened.

The victim has been identified as Noah Benjamin Lubitz, 23, of Ridgefield.
