WALLINGFORD — A man confessed to police after he was accused of exposing himself in a store.

On Monday a woman was shopping at the Goodwill located at 1145 North Colony Road in Wallingford when she saw a man make eye contact with her. She then noticed he was exposing himself while looking at her.

The woman told police she walked away to alert a store employee, at which point the man walked out. However, employees saw him leave, and surveillance video caught him drive off, showing his license plate number.

Police identified the man as Mohamed Baakrime, 30, of Meriden, and went to speak with him. He originally denied even being in Wallingford, but later confessed to the incident. He also told officers it wasn’t his first time exposing himself to someone.

He was charged with breach of peace and released on a $5,000 bond. He’ll be in court August 22.
