HARTFORD -- Students across Connecticut will be heading back to school in the next few weeks.
On Wednesday, we spoke with Fairfield Police Chief Gary MacNamara on how to keep students safe as they transition to another school year.
Chief MacNamara says it’s about getting everyone on board.
The bus drivers, parents, teachers, administrators and students all need to work together to make sure students have a safe and successful experience from the time they leave home in the morning until the time they return from school in the afternoon.
