HARTFORD - Prof. William Dunlap of the Quinnipiac University School of Law reviews recent corruption cases in the news with Al.
Former Governor John Rowland is making moves toward one final appeal of his conviction, this time at the U.S. Supreme Court. Dunlap said it isn't likely that the high court will take the case and it could be 3-6 months before we know. In June, Rowland's conviction on seven counts of violating campaign finance laws and falsifying records was upheld by the U.S. Court of Appeals.
Dunlap also explains why the Connecticut Supreme Court decided to grant a new trial to former Hartford Mayor Eddie Perez.
