Police in Milford searching for car involved in serious hit-and-run

MILFORD — Police in Milford are investigating a hit and run accident that happened Sunday evening.

It happened Sunday, August 28 around 10:45 p.m. on Bridgeport Avenue near Woodland Avenue.

According to police, a dark colored sedan hit a person and the car the person was about to get into. A witness told police the sedan sped off after hitting the person.

The victim was taken to the hospital with possible life-threatening injuries, police said.

The car involved would have damage to its right front head light, bumper, right fender, and missing its passenger side right mirror.

This incident is still under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact the Milford Police Department at (203) 878-5244.
