One person dies in Stafford accident

STAFFORD — One person died after a single car crash late Monday night.

State police said Mark Lambert, 55, of Vernon died in the crash after his northbound car crossed the center line and hit a telephone pole on the embankment on the other side of the road. The driver was partially ejected from the car.

The accident happened in Stafford on Route 32 near Crow Hill Road. The road was closed for a time but has since reopened.  Police said the car involved rolled over in the crash.

State police are investigating the accident and ask if anyone who has information about the crash to call police at 860-896-3222 x8039.
