SHELTON — An attorney was arrested on charges that he pressured a boy into a sexual relationship, police said.
Peter Kruzynski, 49, was arrested on Tuesday. He has an office on Howe Avenue in Shelton.
Police said the victim told them he was sexually assaulted by Kruzynski starting in 2009 when he was 12-years-old. Kruzynski is accused of taking nude photographs of the boy then coercing him to continue having sex with him for years, threatening to post the photos on the internet. The victim told police Kruzynski used his status as an attorney to coerce him to continue having sex.
Kruzynski was charged with sexual assault in the first, second and fourth degrees, risk of injury to a minor, two counts, and impairing the morals of a minor. Bond was set at $75,000 bond and he was arraigned in Derby Superior Court.
On September 16, Kruzynski was arrested by federal authorities and charged with production and possession of child pornography. If convicted, the federal mandatory minimum term is 15 years, with a maximum term of 30 years, for the production charge. The possession charge has a maximum 10 year term.
