MIDDLETOWN -- Vandals toppled more than a dozen headstones at a cemetery on Saturday. Now, Middletown police are trying to find out who was responsible.

Diana Jakiela said she comes to the cemetery every week to make sure the tombstones belonging to her family are safe.

"My parents and my husband are both buried here," said Jakiela, "and the cemetery has just gone downhill and it bothers me so I come here every week and I water and I weed."

Captain Moriarty with Middletown police said no arrests have been made and they do not have any suspects at this time.

Jakiela added,  "I go to my Uncle Johnny's, and I water his flowers so that everything looks as well as it can look under the circumstances."
