NORWALK — Crews from the U.S. Coast Guard, along with the Norwalk Police Department and Norwalk Fire Department, are searching the waters  in Norwalk after a man went under early Friday morning.

Witnesses said four men were involved in an altercation near the Wall Street Bridge and it looked like three men were fighting one other, Deputy Fire Chief Stephen Shay said. At some point, some of the men ended up in the water, and all but one were able to get themselves out.

Emergency crews were called in around 12:15 a.m. The Coast Guard took over the investigation.
