Other driver sought after crash leaves motorcyclist seriously injured

EAST WINDSOR — A man was seriously injured after a suspected hit and run accident occurred Saturday evening.

Patrol officers and EMTs responded to the area of Abbe Road on reports of a motorcyclist down after colliding with another vehicle at approximately 8 p.m.

Upon arrival, emergency teams found the motorcycle operator suffering from grave injuries. They quickly rushed him to a nearby hospital for treatment.

While assisting the motorcyclist, police were unable to locate a second vehicle. Investigators suspect the other driver had already fled the scene.

Detectives are searching for a tan sedan that sustained a sizable degree of damage from the crash.

Metro Traffic Services, a regional partnership of law enforcement officials between neighboring towns, is assisting with the crash investigation.
