NAUGATUCK – Eight-year-old Mariah Snyder was found in Arizona, safe and unharmed Monday morning.

Police issued a Silver Alert for the missing girl, who until now hadn’t been seen since Saturday. The silver alert has been cancelled.

Police thought she may have been with family members Erika Mizell, 47, or Megan Mizell, 33, since police said she was last seen Saturday at about 1 p.m. leaving her home with Megan to visit Erica in Waterbury. Snyder was never brought home.

Silver Alerts are issued by law enforcement agencies for missing people of all ages. Amber Alerts are issued for children who are believed to be in danger.
