GUILFORD -- A very determined and generous 7-year-old boy from Guilford is raising money for kids at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Grady held a car wash Saturday asking for donations so he could reach his goal of $5,000. Grady's parents said he saw a commercial for the hospital on TV and wanted to make a difference.
Grady's family will hold another fundraiser on Wednesday at Ashley's Ice Cream Cafe, hopeful that will help him reach his $5,000 goal. He and his family plan to visit St. Jude's in Memphis in October where Grady will present his donation.
