Trinity v. Bates

HARTFORD - The Trinity College Bantams opened their 2016 college football season last Saturday with a commanding 38-7 win over the Bates College Bobcats on the Trinity campus in Hartford.

With no spring ball and a short season, Trinity had to knock off the rust in the first quarter but once the Bantams got into gear they never slowed down.

On the defensive side of the ball the Bantams held Bates to just 230 yards total offensive.

On the flipside, senior wide receiver Darrien Myers had 224 total yards himself including three touchdowns off passes from junior quarterback Sonny Puzzo.
