Groton Police arrest woman for sexually assaulting 14-year-old

GROTON – The Groton Police Department has charged a woman with sexually assaulting a 14-year-old at her home over the summer.

On Saturday, August 27, Groton Police started a month-long investigation involving a 14-year-old victim and, as a result of their investigation, arrested Dawn M. Kerr, 34, at her Groton home on Friday.

Groton Police said Kerr knew the victim, but the investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Kerr is charged with second-degree sexual assault of a minor and risk of injury to a minor.

Kerr is being held on $50,000 bail.
