UConn is hosting its second annual National Health Disparities Elimination Summit on Oct. 29.

It’s an opportunity to focus on the environmental, social  and racial factors that can influence the quality of care.

Dr. Linda Barry, Assistant Director and Chief Operating Officer at the CT Institute for Clinical and Translational Science, joined Stan to discuss the summit and how people are affected by their access to care.

Hillary Clinton favors abortion rights and supports Planned Parenthood, a leading abortion provider which also offers a range of other health services. Donald Trump, who once backed abortion rights, now describes himself as "pro-life" and says he would seek to appoint Supreme Court justices who would consider overturning Roe v. Wade, the 1973 decision that established a nationwide right to abortion.
