A new play that tells the story about one of Hartford’s historic neighborhoods – Frog Hollow. Actress Cin Martinez will talks to Stan about her project “Frog Hollow State of Mind,” produced by the Hartbeat Ensemble.
Frog Hollow is bordered by Capitol Avenue to the west of the State Capitol to Laurel Street, and south towards Trinity College. The area gets its name from the swampy conditions in the low land near the corner of Broad and Ward streets. At one time there were many factories in the area.
Park Street runs through the center of the area, which is dominated by Hispanic businesses.
