HARTFORD -- Trinity College hosted a battle of unbeatens in NESCAC football Saturday as the Jumbos of Tufts University came to Hartford.

Both teams had a record of 3-0 in the conference and looked to stay in the hunt for the conference title. Tufts would get on the board first but the Bantams would quickly rattle off 23 straight points and would lead at the half 30-13.

Bantams would come out flat in the second half according to Head Coach Jeff Devanney. The Jumbos would add two touchdowns late in the fourth quarter to cut the Trinity lead to just eight points but the Bantams would hold to win 36-28.
