NEW LONDON - A man arrested in the 2006 death of a father of five is due in New London Superior Court Monday.

Police said they have made a second arrest in the killing of Anthony Hamlin, whose body was found in a field in the area of 428 Shewville Road in Ledyard nearly 11 years ago.

Hamlin, 40, of Groton, was a member of the Eastern Pequot Tribal Nation. He was found dead due to blunt force trauma to the head in January 2006, the day after telling a relative he was taking a train to Virginia.

Investigators had been searching for information on the case and the Governor’s office offered a $25,000 reward in 2011 for information leading to an arrest. Vincenti was held on a $1 million bond.
