BRIDGEPORT— Police said a pair of shootings left three people injured over the weekend in Bridgeport.
The Connecticut Post reports the first shooting happened just before 2 a.m. Sunday. A man was shot multiple times in the right arm. He was taken to the hospital for treatment and is expected to survive.
Police said the second shooting occurred at around 2:15 a.m. An officer had reported shots fired in the area and tried to stop a vehicle fleeing the scene.
Police said the driver evaded capture. A man and a woman were found with gunshot wounds not considered life-threatening.
No arrests were made in either incident as of Sunday.
