Warm weather draws big leaf-peeping crowds in northwest corner of state

LITCHFIELD--On it’s own, Litchfield brings in the visitors, but add a splash of fall color? The crowds get bigger.

And while mid-October is always prime time for leaf peeping, the warm weather has brought in even bigger crowds. Local businesses are happy about that, since bigger crowds means bigger profits!

Other than some traffic congestion, no extra police are needed in the area, so it's all smooth sailing for residents and businesses alike.
