2 sustain life-threatening injuries after 4-car crash in Farmington

10-20-farmington-accidentFARMINGTON–A bad crash Thursday afternoon left at least two people injured.

Around 6 p.m. four cars crashed on Route 4 in Farmington, near Farm Glen Boulevard and UConn Health.

Two people were taken to the hospital in serious condition with injuries that are considered life-threatening. A third person was hurt, but was treated at the scene and refused to go to the hospital.

Route 4 was closed between Talcott Notch Road and South Road while the North Central Municipal Accident Reconstruction Squad investigated, but reopened around 11 p.m.
