STAMFORD — Firefighters were able to quickly contain a fire in condo complex that went to three alarms Wednesday evening.
Officials said a brush fire outside the building at 1 Southfield Ave. spread to the structure and burned three floors and an attic.
The Stamford fire department was able to contain the damage to two adjacent units within an hour. Six engine companies, three truck companies, and a heavy rescue companies wefought the fire.
The Stamford Fire Marshal’s office is investigating the cause of the fire.
