PLAINVILLE–A bad crash on Thursday afternoon left several cars damaged, but thankfully no one was seriously injured.

Six cars were involved in a crash around 4:15 p.m. on Route 72 in Plainville, just off the New Britain Avenue exit. The exit was closed for a short time, but the entire scene was cleared by 5:30 p.m.

One person was taken to the hospital just to be evaluated, but there were no other injuries in the crash.

FOX 61 viewer Bill Gaynor sent us a photo of the crash, which showed one car standing on its nose, sandwiched between two other vehicles. The driver of that car reached out to FOX 61 and is OK after the crash.
