Wethersfield Police on the lookout for bank robbery suspect

WETHERSFIELD – Police are looking for man in connection with bank robbery on Saturday morning.

Police said they responded to an alarm and a report of a robbery at TD Bank at 25 Wells Road in Wethersfield shortly after 11 a.m. Saturday. They said a suspect showed a note demanding money and the teller complied. The robber then took off in an unknown direction, according to police, who said nobody was hurt during the robbery and that no weapon was shown or implied.

The suspect is described as a white man in his late 20s or 30s, about 5’5” tall, clean-shaven, with a medium build. He was wearing a gray ball cap and a red and black or blue jacket.
