HARTFORD - Cashmere is a 2-month-old gray kitten looking for a good home.
Someone found her and other kittens on a broken-down van on her property. The person was able to find homes for the others, but not her, so she came to the Connecticut Humane Society in early October.
She got examined by a vet and observed in the maternity ward for a few days.Then she went into foster care until she got big and strong enough to be spayed.
She’s wiggly as kittens are, but is very social and loves to purr. She weighs a little over two pounds.
