NEW HAVEN — Police issued a Silver Alert for 1-year-old Ibrahim Meshake Tuesday afternoon. But, later called it a custodial issue and withdrew the alert.

The baby is safe and with his mother, according to New Haven Police Officer David Hartman.

Meshake’s father reporter him missing since Monday. But police said he wasn’t really missing and now the Department of Children and Families (DCF) is involved.
