Painting murals in Hartford to combat violence

HARTFORD — Communal creativity is being used to combat violence in the capital city.

Students, community member and local artists came together Saturday to transform part of Windsor Street in Hartford into a beautiful mural.

This is the one of six murals through Hartford, each representing one of Martin Luther King’s six principles of nonviolence.
