Student at ECSU mourned after sudden death

WILLIMANTIC — Students are at Eastern Connecticut State University are mourning a classmate after her sudden death this week.

The student, Elizabeth Hadfield, was a senior from Glastonbury according to officials.

She was on the dean’s list and a double major in elementary education and visual arts.


Ken  Bedini, Vice President for Student Affairs issued a statement:

The University community is deeply saddened by this tragic loss.  Elizabeth will be greatly missed by her friends and faculty here at Eastern.  Our prayers go out to her family and friends during this difficult time.
