According to police, the suspect and a woman were seen walking down the road, and flagged down two women driving by. The male suspect ordered those woman out of their car, and when she refused the male suspect stabbed her arm. The second female victim in the car, the passenger, went to help the driver but was then cut by the knife as well.

"That's when he started pulling on the door, attacking my daughter," remembered Anne McCoy, one of the victims. "The last thing I saw she was holding onto the door handle being dragged by the car."

"I was just kicking madly and he kept saying 'I'm going to stab you, I'm going to stab you,' I think he got me in the leg, but he got me in the arm massively, at which point he said 'I'll keep stabbing unless you get out,'" McCoy added.

The suspects took the car and drove off eastbound on West Thompson Road.

Police issued an alert for the car, and around 10:45 a.m. Massachusetts State Police troopers from the Sturbridge, Massachusetts, barracks found the car on Route 395 and started chasing it, and eventually stopped the car in a parking lot on Route 20 in Auburn.

Police said that when the troopers drove up to the suspect car it tried to ram their cruiser, then a second cruiser nearby. The car then drove off again, but ended when the suspects tried to turn around in a driveway and hit a cruiser and parked car. At that point the two suspects were arrested and charged with motor vehicle charges.

No officers were injured, and the suspects weren't hurt either.

The suspects were identified as Christopher R. Harding, 21, and Celina R. Cousineau, 21. They live in the same house in Dayville.

The victims were taken to the hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.

Charges related to the carjackings and stabbings are pending.
