Fourth graders in Hebron meet men and women from all branches of military

HEBRON--A group of elementary school students in Hebron got a special presentation just one day before our nation celebrates Veterans Day.

veterans-schoolMen and women from all branches of the military visited Krstin VanCamp's fourth-grade class at Hebron Elementary School on Thursday to talk to the students. The veterans shared stories, answered questions about their time serving for our country, and showed the students some mementos from war.

The event has been held annually at the school for several years now.

Eddie Lavoie, one of the fourth graders at Hebron Elementary, said, "Veterans Day is really special because it shows the veterans who helps us be a free country."

Veterans Day is Friday, November 11.
