Police: Man, woman seriously hurt in New Haven shooting

NEW HAVEN — Police are investigating a shooting at a housing complex that left a man and woman seriously injured in New Haven.

Police said they were brought to Yale-New Haven Hospital around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday by private vehicles.

Police say the man, Brian Faulks, 28, of New Haven, was shot several times and is in serious but stable condition. The woman, Erin K Jones, 39, also of New Haven is in critical condition.

Police said they found what they suspect is the crime scene on Franklin Street in the Farnam Courts Housing Complex.

Police want to speak with anyone who saw the shootings or  have any information on the case, and they can be reached by phoning 203-946-6304. Calls may be made anonymously.
