Police still seeking clues in 2014 Simsbury homicide of insurance executive

SIMSBURY -- Almost two years later and police are still looking for the person responsible for the fatal stabbing of a Simsbury mother.

Sunday will mark two years since Melissa Millan, 54, a Mass Mutual Executive and mother of two, went for an evening jog on the side of Iron Horse Boulevard and was fatally stabbed in the chest.

"You don't have the answers that people are looking for," said Sergeant Tom Sheehan, a detective with Simsbury Police. "It's not for lack of trying or ability, it's just that the answers aren't there yet, we haven't discovered them."

State Police, Simsbury Police, and the FBI and all participating in the investigation.

A $40,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest.
