HARTFORD — Some Hartford police going above and beyond to kick off the holiday season.
The Hartford Police Guardians served up some hot turkey dinners to many in need of a meal.
It’s been an annual tradition for the last six years at Red Rock Tavern.
The volunteers say it’s an opportunity to let the community know they care.
And a time to come together in the spirit of the season. In that spirit of fellowship and community, the department’s Athletic League, along with the Guardians, are planning to serve up another 300 Thanksgiving meals on Tuesday.
