I was involved in an accident on the highway when a car was towing a trailer behind it sideswiped me as they were changing lanes. They didn't realize they had hit me, but a passenger in my car got the plate number and the police found them. My car was damaged and another passenger suffered some pretty severe injuries due to the crash. Is this any different from dealing with a traditional auto accident?
