Police said the break-ins occurred in the early morning of Saturday when approximately 25 different vehicles were burglarized in various locations of Clinton. Incidents were reported on Rocky Ledge Drive, Hurd Bridge Road, Fairy Dell Road, Ironworks Road and other locations around town.

Three vehicles and a .380 semiautomatic hand gun were also stolen according to police.  One vehicle was later recovered after being involved in a crash in Hamden.

Police said four suspects used stolen credit cards from the victims in Clinton, to make purchases in Hamden and Wallingford. Police said they are seeking any information regarding the identity of the individuals pictured. Police believe they are armed and dangerous.

Polcie reminded residents to keep homes and vehicles locked at all times, do not leave your keys in the car, and to remove all valuables from your vehicles.

"I grew up here all of my life it’s always been safe, we were able to leave everything completely unlocked, but apparently now that’s just not the case anymore ," said Christa Secondino, who lives in Clinton.

She said it's especially surprising this time of the year, "This is beyond beyond my comprehension and this is the season to be giving and loving and kind to other people ," Secondino said.
