BRISTOL — Police have identified a man who was struck and killed on his motorcycle Sunday morning.
Police say that Corey Cuvelier, 34, of Bristol, was operating a 2004 Kawasaki Volcan traveling eastbound on Farmington Avenue in Bristol when he was approaching the intersection with King Street. Crystaly Acevedo, 20, of Southington, was travelling westbound on Farmington Avenue and was turning left onto King Street when she collided with Cuvelier.
Upon arrival, officers found Cuvelier suffering from a serious head injury. Life Star was called to the scene but Cuvelier died before he could be taken to the hostpial. He was not wearing a helmet.
Acevedo did not suffer any injuries but was transported to an area hospital for evaluation.
