Food pantry’s new space will help more people in Cheshire
The organization celebrated the new 6,000 square foot home which will officially open on Monday.
They previously operated out of a small garage.
They can now accept perishable and frozen foods, where it couldn’t before.
It has increased storage, and outdoor space to grow produce.
And features a special community space for students and professionals to work on projects.
The pantry hopes to introduce new nutrition programming and community service initiatives in the coming months, as well as have warm coats on hand for anyone in need this winter.
