BRIDGEPORT -- Connecticut has four Division 1 men’s college hockey programs, and they all have their own home ice.

Yale plays at Ingalls Rink, Quinnipiac at the TD Bank Sports Center, and UConn at the XL Center.

But while Sacred Heart was playing at the Milford ICE Pavillion, that had more of a high school hockey rink feel.

This year, the team took a big slide as the Pioneers started calling the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport home. The team's leaders and school hope the new location is something they can use to help them recruit better players moving forward.
