SHELTON - Now you see it... now you don't!
Food has been disappearing off of plates at Magic Cafe in Shelton.
Owner and magician Bryan Lizotte combined his love for quality food and magic into a new restaurant on Bridgeport Avenue.
While the walls are covered in reproductions of vintage magic posters, as well as current entertainers, the menu is filled with freshly made goodness.
Magic Cafe serves up breakfast and lunch but is known for the Houdini Burger (named after famed magician Harry Houdini) that is Angus beef with pepper jack cheese, cheddar, bacon and a fried egg on a pretzel roll bun.
Don't forget to ask for the fresh-cut fries that are made to order.
The food at this cafe isn't an illusion but if you catch Lizotte at the right time, he just might help you make your meal vanish!
