WEST HAVEN -- When Georgetown-bound high school senior Tremont Waters decided to play his last season as a high school point guard at Notre Dame of West Haven, head coach Jason Shea was shocked and surprised. He even said he didn’t want to get too excited until he saw Waters in a Green Knight uniform.

But once Tremont suited up his impact was immediate and profound. Tremont spent the last two seasons at South Kent Prep School playing on the prep team, and brought with him that knowledge and experience of running a club to Notre Dame.

Coach Shea says while he is amazed with Tremont's basketball skills, it is his calm demeanor and leaderships skills that have most impressed him.
