HARTFORD -- Hartford Mayor Luke Bronin has reached a money-saving deal with local firefighters, an agreement that includes no pay raises for four years. But, so far, the cash-strapped capital city is getting no help from the state.
So, he's touring area towns to pitch a regional sharing of services to save money for all. So far, West Hartford and Rocky Hill have shown no interest, but, ever hopeful, his next stop is Simsbury.
