The East Haven Yellowjackets moved to 6-0 Wednesday on the frozen pond as they defeated the Hand Tigers 8-3.
The Yellowjackets scored early and often, lighting the lamp just twenty five seconds into the first period when Mike Dogolo found the net on a beautiful pass from Zack Paquin. East Haven would be up 3-0 in the second period when Matt Rice got Daniel Hand on the board as he scored two goals in a four minute stretch to pull the Tigers within a goal 3-2.
The Yellowjackets would quickly respond off the stick of freshman Nick Capone, who scored three goals in the last three minutes of the second period. Capone would add one more goal in the third and Dogolo would also add one in the final frame to tally a hat trick as East Haven stays perfect on the season with the 8-3 victory.
