WESTPORT — One man was killed in a crash on the Merritt Parkway Wednesday.
Robert Bearden, 76, of Florham Park New Jersey, was driving south on Route 15 near the ramp for Exit 41 in Westport when police said his car traveled off the highway, struck a tree and overturned.
Bearden was taken to Norwalk hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The crash is under investigation.
