WEST HARTFORD — Would you like a chance to win free food for a year? Well here it is.

As part of the grand opening festivities for a new Chick-fil-A location in West Hartford, the restaurant will offer its first 100 guests the chance to win free food for a year as part of their “First 100” celebration. As of Wednesday afternoon, tents were setup in the parking lot. But Thursday’s snowstorm has changed the rules for the celebration.

Daryl Jackson, Franchise Owner of the new Chick-fil-A West Hartford, said the “First 100” celebration will conclude at 10 p.m. Wednesday night to ensure that the guests make it home safely.

“Due to the impending snow storm, we are shifting the times of our Grand Opening festivities to ensure the safety of our customers and Team Members. The Grand Opening of our restaurant has been postponed until 4 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday), and we will continue to monitor the weather and adjust if needed (please check our Facebook page for updates). We can’t wait to serve the West Hartford community.”

This event is open to guests residing in specific zip codes surrounding the restaurant located at 509 New Park Ave in West Hartford. Participants must be 18 years or older with identification.

A complete listing of eligible zip codes and rules can be found here.
