HAMDEN — A seven-year-old boy fell from a third story window Tuesday night and broke his leg.
According to police, they responded to a call of a boy who fell from a window on the third floor of a building at 2390 State Street in Hamden at the Ridge Hill condo complex at about 9 p.m. Tuesday.
One neighbor tells Fox 61 the child let out such a load scream that they initially thought it was the boy’s 12-year-old sister that was injured.
Fortunately, the 2nd-grader landed on grass and not pavement and police said they suspect it was accidental.
The child was taken to the hospital for treatment and the fall remains under investigation.
